Commissioned by the Swiss luxury bedding manufacturer Elite Bed, this project involved rethinking the mattress and its immediate environment.
My contribution focused on sustainability through material reuse. I explored ways to repurpose fabric offcuts from Elite Bed’s spring box production. The outcome was a patchwork blanket that transforms surplus textiles into a thoughtful and visually compelling product. This approach not only reduces waste but also highlights the potential of circular design in the luxury bedding industry.
The project was exhibited during Milan Design Week 2017.
