TALKING CAMERA

Talking Camera is an experimental device that explores the intersection of photography, language, and artificial intelligence. Using open-source AI technologies such as DenseCap (dense captioning), the camera instantly generates an audio description of the scene just captured.

By transforming visual input into spoken language in real time, Talking Camera offers users a new and playful way of engaging with photography , one that shifts the experience from silent image-making to an interactive, narrative-driven encounter.

The project was exhibited at mudac (Musée de design et d’arts appliqués contemporains) in 2018
